Middle and High School Student Diversity Leadership Conference

The Bowles Center for Diversity Outreach, Inc. will host The Annual Regional Diversity Middle School & High School Student Education & Leadership Conference (Grades 8-12) on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. The conference will be held at West Kentucky Community & Technical College Emerging Technology Center which is located at 4810 Alben Barkley Drive in Paducah, Kentucky. The conference will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:30 p.m. The event will start with a continental breakfast from 8:00 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. The first break sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. The second breakout sessions will begin at 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. The event luncheon will begin at 12:00 p.m. and conclude at 1:30 p.m. We are hosting the conference to assist school districts with reducing barriers to learning, closing achievement gaps, enhance leadership skills, build character, promote career and college readiness and cultural empowerment. Conference serves all West Kentucky High Schools and Middle Schools.
We are expecting a significant number of students and educators to attend the conference. The Conference serves all Western Kentucky School Districts. We are asking School District Superintendents, School Principals, School Counselors and Youth Service Center Coordinators to register students attend the conference. The conference will offer middle and high school students an excellent opportunity for educational, cultural, social leadership development, as well as networking and training to all of those in attendance. Highlights of the conference include state and regionally recognized education speakers from across Indiana, Kentucky & Tennessee.
