The Bowles Center for Diversity Outreach, Inc. will host Greater Cincinnati Athletes Leadership Conference on Friday, December 12, 2017. The Conference will be held at the Leadership and Conference Center at Northern Kentucky University's Student Union, which is located at 20 Kenton Drive in Highland Heights, KY. We are expecting a significant number of African American, Hispanic and Bi-Racial Male High School Students to attend the conference. The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 1:30 p.m. We are expecting a significant number of students and educators to attend the conference. The conference serves Northern Kentucky School Districts, Cincinnati, Butler County, Clermont County, Hamilton County, Warren County, and Southeast Indian School Districts. (All Students Are Welcome To Attend!)
Workshops Topics Include:
Preparing for Professional Sports or Professional Career / Financing your education (Financial Aid and Scholarships)
Entering the Workforce or Preparing for College, Understanding the Difference / Empowering Students to Become Leaders while preparing for your future / Understanding the Diverse Athlete
Negative and Positive Side of Athletes. How to win with a loss / Importance of maintaining and meeting academic standards to participate in sports
Title 9 Compliance / Steps to take to prevent Sports Injuries

What athletes can do to get noticed by college recruits?
In addition, you will not want to miss the regional college fair and other conference
activities. We are confident that the High School Student Athletes Leadership Conference
